Stirrup Tights – Not Just For keeping fit Anymore
Back in the 1980’s stirrup tights were all the rage, well guess what! They are making a enormous come back! An old fad comes back into fashion every couple of decades. Remember a few years ago it was bell bottoms? Now it is stirrup tights, but don't be so sure they will fade away as quickly as they did the last time. However it is not just plain black tights that are coming back, today there are tights in all colours and styles.
Women like variety in the clothes they wear. Tights provide that. You may want to dress them up or you can dress them down. Tights may be worn with just about any outfit. Tights are the icing on the cream of the crop, when it comes to fashion.
If you are going to the gym then stirrup tights are excellent. Your toes and heels are exposed, giving you that extra grip on the floor, but if you have looked at any fashion or gossip magazine today or yesterday, you would have noticed they are not just for workouts any more! Celebrities from Kristen Dunst to Madonna have been spotted - and photographed - wearing stirrup tights.
Unless you are in a gym practicing your moves, you will most likely wear stirrup tights with a pair of socks. So why not wear just a normal pair of tights. Do you know how clammy and uncomfortable tights can be with a pair of socks over on the top? Your feet will become too hot and sweaty. You may want to invest in some stirrip types because they are much more comfortable. You only have a small strap of material in your instep, this leaves your toes to wiggle and breathe freely.
