Omni Berkshire Place 4 Star Luxury Hotel In New York
Omni Berkshire Place in New York is a beautiful 4 star hotel. It's a great choice for business travelers and for travelers who want to stay in style during their visit to the "Big Apple".
This hotel has all of the amenities that you would expect from a luxury hotel in Manhattan. Here's a shortlist:
1. Currency Exchange.
2. Room Service.
3. AC.
4. In Room Movies.
5. Fitness Room.
6. Lounge.
7. Business Center.
8. Security Guard.
9. Restaurant.
10. Concierge.
The building itself is quite beautiful especially at night with all of the lights on. And the rooms are decorated luxuriously. But what is really cool about Omni Berkshire Place to me isn't what it looks like outside or how nice it is inside but where it is located. Hanging out in your hotel room, no matter how nice it is, when you're in NYC is pretty lame!
The hotel is located on East 52nd St. between Madison Avenue and 5th Avenue and that places it near many interesting things in the city. Here's a shortlist of what's within a short walk of the hotel:
1. St. Patrick's Cathedral.
2. Rockefeller Center.
3. Museum of TV & Radio.
4. The Museum of Modern Art.
5. Subway Stations.
As you might imagine a 4 star hotel in such a great location in Midtown Manhattan is not cheap. As of right now the cheapest room I can find at the NYC Hotel Deals website is $509/room. Rates do change depending on the day and the season but you are unlikely to find a reservation at a hotel of this quality for a low price in NYC. In this very expensive city even the two star budget hotels are usually over $200/room.
For people who plan on doing a lot of tourist activities, the New York Pass is a great way to save some money. It lets you do over 40 tourist activities for one fee. It can also save you lots of time since it lets you cut in line too!
